Bree looked over at the tall blonde “Well, maybe you could call and talk to your mom and stuff, yeah? That might help.” Bree hopped up “Alright. I’m gonna teach you a routine this semester, and it’s gonna be badass! So, let me show you first. Ok?” She walked over to her iPod and started playing the song. Then she started dancing. This was a fairly simple routine, but entertaining all the same.
“See, not too difficult!” She smiled down at Marina. “Right?”
Marina sighed. “Yeah, I’m gonna call her tonight..” Bree hopped up and she followed her lead. “Eh, OK. Let’s try it then!” She replied. Marina started to get nervous, she couldn’t dance for shit! When Bree started to dance Marina got even more nervous. “Wow.” It was the only thing she could say at the moment.
The sweet smile made the butterflies in Marina’s stomach dance. “How am I ever going to be able to do that!” She blurted out laughing.
Even though I’m tired.
Hey, good morning! Didn’t sleep well last night?
“No. Something’s wrong. And I’m not gonna show you anything until you tell me.” Bree said with a concerned but defiant look on her face. She could see the forced smile on her face and she wasn’t gonna let anything go. Bree turned at sat on the floor. “Not moving until you tell me.” She said as she looked up at Marina.
“Really, it’s just… Nothing.” Marina said desperately, trying to convince Bree. The mixed feelings she had about this situation were so weird and confusing. Marina wanted to leave, but she also wanted to stay here with Bree. How lucky she was, being here all alone with this beautiful and sweet girl. The thoughts of being lesbian scared Marina though.
”I was just thinking of home,” She waited a second for she began to speak again. “Eh, it reminds me of all the summer vacations in my past.” Marina spoke quietly. She hated lying, against such a nice person. But how could she possibly tell the truth? Marina didn’t even want to think about that, she just started all over again and wasn’t going to ruin it by telling someone how she really felt.
She sat next to Bree and smiled at her, as natural as Marina could. “I always missed home back then, always wanted the vacation to end as soon as possible.” she gazed at Breesa. “This was a bad idea, but I had to do it, you know. It’s about growing up, according to my mom.” Marina sighed, what if Bree didn’t believe her.
Awh, thanks a lot girl! So ehm, do you like the school?
Yeah, I’m new. And I’m lost already.
That’s great! I don’t think I can find my way around here on my own. Again, thanks. You seem really nice!
Oh, how rude! My name is Marina, glad to meet you!
Sure. Which class are you looking for?
Thank god! Oh, I’m glad you want to help me.
I’m looking for classroom 12, History. I’ve been searching for ten minutes, but can’t find it..
